Jensen-Boyle Leaf Spot Advisory for Peanuts

This advisory for peanut leaf spot was used by the National Weather Service's Southeast Ag Weather Service Center for almost 30 years in their Ag Weather advisories. It uses the temperature and the length of time at which the relative humidity is above 95% to determine when conditions are favorable for leaf spot development. When conditions do not favor infection, the time between fungicide applications can be stretched and when conditions favor fungal development, the time between fungicide applications should be reduced.
