---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following leafspot statements are only 'generalized' spray guidelines.
Growers are required to keep track of their individual 'rain event days'
and refer to the AU-Pnut spray rules for their site-specific information.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leafspot 5-Day
Statement# Avg PoP Leafspot Statement
---------- ------- ------------------
1 >= 50% Forecast weather patterns are very favorable for a rapid
buildup of peanut leafspot. Fields that have not received
a fungicide spray within 10 days should be IMMEDIATELY
treated for peanut leafspot.
2 >= 40% Forecast rainfall patterns favor peanut leafspot.
Immediately spray those fields that have had a rain or
have been irrigated within the past 10 days. Do not
exceed 14 days between peanut leafspot sprays.
3 >= 20% Some peanut leafspot development will occur. Growers are
advised to spray if 2 rain events have been recorded in
the field over the last 10 days.
4 < 20% Forecast weather patterns do not favor peanut leafspot.
However fields that have had 3 rain events in the last
10 days (including irrigation as a rain event) should
be sprayed immediately.
Spray IMMEDIATELY if you have had three rain events.
STOP fungicide applications if you are within 14 days of harvest.
